With the Sydney Metropolitan Development Authority (SMDA) taking on the urban renewal functions of the RWA, the SMDA is currently reviewing the draft BEP 2 submissions received regarding the non-statutory exhibition which occurred earlier this year. Further studies and analysis are planned which will form part of an urban renewal study for the Redfern-Waterloo Precinct.
