Koori Job Ready Course
The Koori Job Ready Course offers training in a range of construction subjects with a focus on gaining employment on constructions projects across Sydney and regional areas in NSW.
Along with Yaama Dhiyaan, the Koori Job Ready Course is part of the Aboriginal Employment Program.
As of 1 July 2011, the program is proudly being supported by Australian Technology Park Sydney Limited (ATPSL). The program was originally an initiative of the Redfern-Waterloo Authority but now sits under the ATPSL umbrella.
The Koori Job Ready Course is held over eight weeks at the Les Tobler Construction Centre at 255 Wilson Street, Darlington. The course is full time and runs from 8:30am to 2:30pm.
Four courses are run throughout the year, with information days held onsite two weeks before the course commencement date.
