The RWA Contributions Plan
2006 was adopted by the Minister for Redfern-Waterloo
on 2 May 2007 and came into effect on 16
May 2007.
The Contributions Plan

granting consent to development, to impose
a condition of consent requiring the payment
of a development levy, for the provision
of public facilities and amenities within
the RWA’s Operational Area.
The Contributions Plan
applies to development on land within the
RWA’s Operational Area for which the
Minister for Planning and Infrastructure is the consent authority
under the Environmental Planning and Assessment
Act.
The Contributions Plan:

levy, what development it applies to and
how the amount is payable;
- details the expected development and
demand for public facilities in the Operational
Area; and
- identifies the public facilities and
amenities to be funded from contributions
collected from the Plan
The Contributions Plan
has been prepared in accordance with Section
31 and 32 of the Redfern Waterloo Authority
Act 2004, the Environmental Planning
